John Wells

Dr. John Wells is well known in the driver training profession as a specialist author ADI and PDI training materials. He works closely with the leading trade body in the industry, The Driving Instructors Association (DIA).

John has provided a consultancy service for those wishing to register with ORDIT, advising on training techniques and quality, and worked extensively with the Driving Instructors Register of Ireland (DIR), writing approved training materials as Eire moves towards compulsory registration of driving tutors. He is a member of the DIA Education Committee and driver training consultant for BUSK.

Margaret Stacey

The late Margaret Stacey served on the Management Committee of ADITE - The Approved Driving Instructors' Training Establishment directory (now ORDIT) - as the representative of The Approved Driving Instructors' National Joint Council. She was a secretary to the Steering Committee that formulated the standards for the NVQ in Driving Instruction. She was a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor and qualified tutor and had well over 30 years' experience within the driving instruction industry.

Margaret was the author of Learn to Drive in 10 Easy Stages, The Advanced Driver's Handbook and the AUTODRIVA Instructor Home Study Programme, which is used, on licence, by other training establishments throughout the UK.
