Supply Chain Risk Wins Prestigious Supply Chain Award

Kogan Page is proud to announce that Supply Chain Risk has won the ACA-Bruel Special Mention prize for its contribution to the development of leading new concepts and methods in purchasing and supply chain. The prize is organised by the Association of Purchasing and Supply Chain (CESA) of HEC School of Management in Paris.

John Manners-Bell, the author of Supply Chain Risk, was there in person to collect his award.

John said: "It was a great honour to receive such a prestigious award. My book highlights the challenges global corporations face in trying to balance the need for lean supply chains with the inherent vulnerability which this can create. Building resilience has become a competitive advantage, maintaining agility whilst ensuring supply chains are robust enough to deal with threats from any source at any time."

The Handbook of Logistics and Distribution Management was also nominated for the ACA-Bruel Prize 2014.
