He has over 30 years of experience working for marketing firms in Boston, San Francisco, Stockholm, and Copenhagen. The past 25 years have been dedicated exclusively to international assignments. Over that time, Sean Duffy has worked with hundreds of brands in over 40 different countries.
Sean Duffy is a frequent speaker on marketing and strategic brand development and draws on his extensive experience working with global brands such as IKEA, Pepsico, The United Nations, Sony, Saab, Volvo, Absolut, VF Corporation, Scandinavian Airlines, Tetra Pak, Alfa Laval, Pfizer, Reckitt Benckiser, and GSK.
Outside the Duffy Agency, Sean Duffy serves as Adjunct Professor of International Strategic Marketing at Lund University School of Economics & Management in Sweden. Through Lund University Commissioned Education and Executive Foundation Lund, Sean has developed and implemented a proprietary best-practices curriculum to help executives and their teams enhance their strategic marketing skills. He has also served the Masters Program in Entrepreneurship at Lund University as mentor to the next generation of global business leaders.
Sean Duffy has served two terms as the European governor of TAAN Worldwide (www.taan.org), a global network of over 50 independent marketing firms representing over $1.5 billion in annual revenue. As a member of the Swedish Chinese Chamber of Commerce, he has represented Swedish business interests on several trade missions to China. Sean Duffy divides his time between Malmö, Sweden and Boston, Massachusetts.
