Andrew Donaldson

Andrew Donaldson is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and founded Dains Forensic LLP in 2014 to provide specialist forensic accounting services in the Midlands.

Having qualified with a Big 4 firm in 1988, he began full-time in Forensic Accounting in 1992 and was involved in a number of multinational, multi-jurisdictional investigations as well as smaller UK based assignments.

In 1997, Mr Donaldson left professional practice and spent nearly 10 years as a finance director in a series of small/medium companies, before returning to forensic accountancy in 2006.

Since then, he has been appointed expert in many cases, civil and criminal, and has acted for Applicant and Respondent, Prosecution and Defence, as well as being appointed a Single Joint Expert in suitable cases. Mr Donaldson has been expert in a number of quoted cases and is a member of the Expert Witness Institute.
