Kogan Page publishes new book about Tesla
31 July 2019
The Tesla Way demonstrates that the fourth Industrial Revolution is well and truly underway and that there is one emerging system primed to take full advantage of it. This system, which will drive the industry’s shift into a hybrid digital and industrial sector is the brainchild of Elon Musk, the charismatic and controversial leader of Tesla.
Helen Kogan, Managing Director at Kogan Page, commented: “We are delighted to be working with a global expert, Michael Valentin, to publish a unique book examining ground-breaking business models from one of the most visionary companies in the manufacturing and automotive industry.”
Jean-Marc Daniel, Professor of Economics at ESCP Europe, added: “This is not another book on artificial intelligence, but truly a book about factories and what will become of tomorrow’s industry.”
The book looks at the origins of Tesla, its journey to success, its new business models and what will come next. It includes a mixture of the theory behind Tesla’s business models and its applications, examining the combination between the manufacturing world and the digital world. The author draws on expertise gathered from industry and has also interviewed a cross-section of Tesla’s current employees in both the USA and France.
