About the authors

Gillian Watson is a principal lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Sunderland, UK, responsible for international development and partnerships. Based in Sunderland, UK she previously served as HRM team leader and chair of the Applied Management, FdA and HND board.

Stefanie Reissner is a Professor of Work and Organization Studies at Essex Business School, UK, researching topics such as identity, reflexivity and learning. She is a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an associate academic member of the CIPD.
